So you want to join this hami raid? Here's what is expected of you:
1) Create and wear a costume with no cape and no particle effects. Graphics lag in this will be severe, and we must do everything possible to minimize it.
2) Keep idle chatter off the request channel. The request channel will be used to pass orders and information from the raid leaders down to the raid as a whole. *Nobody* should be talking on this channel except for the raid leaders.
3) Before the raid, familiarize yourself with the raid plan, including its goals, strategies, and organization. There will be a brief overview of the raid plan immediately prior to the raid, but the online plans will be much more detailed. Ask your questions before the raid starts -- you should know what and why we are doing what we are doing before you enter the Hive. For snipers, make sure you have your snipe slotted with 6 range enhancements at least two levels above your own.
4) Follow the plan and all orders passed down from the raid leaders. This is not an encounter that will be won by the outstanding brilliance of a single player. There is no room for ego or pride on this raid.
5) Understand that this is a marathon, not a sprint. Expect to devote a minimum of four hours to this raid. Realistically, if we are doing well, we could easily spend upwards of 8 hours in the hive playing with the big blob.
6) Understand that this is *not* a raid whose primary purpose is to take out Hamidon. The goal here is to gather enough information and experience to take him out on a future raid.
7) You must be willing to max out your debt on this raid. If you are unhappy with that prospect, do not come.
