Here are a few positions I'd like to have names for to put into the final raid plans. Post below or otherwise contact me if you would like to take on the added responsibility. I hope to have the use of a teamspeak server for this raid, so having TS capabilities are a definite plus.
1) Main assist. Requires phase shift. Decides which mito to take out next. Along with the raid leader, decides when it's necessary to move the snipers to a new position. Reports back to the raid as a whole about progress on mitos. This feedback is especially important for the non-snipers, as the other members of the raid are not really paying attention to how much progress we're making in taking out the mitos.
2) Outrider coordinator. Basically somebody people can contact saying, "giant monster inbound, please take care of it". Also, somebody the raid leader can count on to clear an area out prior to moving the snipers.
3) Healing/Recovery coordinator. A difficult position, mainly because the healers will be spread among the various teams. Responsible for allocating our healing/buffing heroes between the snipers, debuffers, and outriders. Somebody a team can contact to request a tper or a rezzer for recovery operations.
4) Short-range coordinator. Organizes the debuffing and short-range charges into Hamidon. Truthfully, I don't have much experience with what will be required for these teams, so this person should be creative, flexible, and capable of working with a fair amount of autonomy while still supporting the overall raid.
5) Fulcrum-shift coordinator. Is responsible for organizing the herders and balancing the need for mobs with the increased lag such mobs create. Basically just somebody who can tell the herders, "We expect to need more mobs in a few minutes." Should be a relatively easy job for one of our kineticists, as we can stick all the kineticists and herders on a single team.
6) Raid leader. This is my job -- I'm just putting it down here for completeness and so you have an idea of what I expect to be doing. Primary job is to keep everybody on task and organized. Will spend copious amounts of time sending private messages to people telling them to assist off of the main assist, not to kill the fulcrum shift batteries, not to use bubbles or other unnecessary powers, to keep their pets away from the snipers, etc. Will work with the other raid leaders to determine any on-the-fly changes that need to be made to the raid plan. Will communicate *all* orders to the raid as a whole in order to provide a single clear and (hopefully) consistent voice from the raid leadership.
Drop me a line (by posting below, in-game, or at balshor@gmail.com) if you want to fulfil one of these positions.
